Qian Jianyan starts to work for LOS from March, 2011. She is a second year master student of Landscape Architecture and Planning in Wageningen University, the study of which focuses on large scale landscape planning and rural/urban developments. Previously, she’s got her bachelor diploma on landscape architecture from Tongji University, Shanghai, China, and has worked for several Chinese and foreign consultancy companies on urban planning/landscape planning projects, both indigenous and abroad. In LOS, her interest is to explore whether the Dutch wisdom on ecological planning can be applied and add value on the quality of planning/design projects in China. While bridging the Dutch experience and Chinese market, she also sees it as a very precious learning opportunity.
